The International Society of Protistologists (ISOP) has held its major meeting in Prague from April 19 to 23, 2026. The event took place at the Grand Hotel International Prague. We were delighted that our PhD student Amanda Okolie (Ecology group/Sabine Filker), represented our Research Training Group there. Amanda’s presentation entitled “New insights into the osmoregulatory strategies in the halophilic ciliate, Schmidingerothrix Salinarum; Method based approach” was very well received. We are very proud of her.
