On Monday this week (07/13/26) we had the pleasure to welcome Prof. Michael Lenhard from the Institute for Biochemistry and Biology at the University of Potsdam, who is studying the genetic and molecular basis of organ-size control in plants, and its evolutionary modification. His talk entitled “How does pollen efficiently get to the stigmas of other individuals in a population and which pollen tubes then win the race to the ovules” was highly appreciated. We would like to thank Prof. Lenhard very much for visiting us, especially for the enjoyable pre-talk meeting with our doctoral students.
