Today we were delighted to welcome Dr. Lena Krämer and PD Dr. Margret Bülow for guest talks within our RTG.
Lena Krämer did her PhD a few years ago in the Cell Biology group of our spokesperson Hannes Herrmann and is now working as Scientific Project Manager: Information Infrastructure for BioImage Data (I3D:bio) in Heidelberg. Her very interesting and up-to-date presentation entitled “Preserving Insights: Why Research Data Management Matters in BioImaging”, as well as various career tips that she gave our PhD students, were highly appreciated.
Margret Bülow is the scientific leader of the group Membrane Contact Sites & Central/Biobank for Cardiac Surgery at the University Hospital in Düsseldorf. Her very exciting talk and the lively disucssion afterwards on inter-organelle communication in neuron function and in nutrient signalling was higly appreciated as well.
We would like to thank both guest speakers again and wish all the best for their further professional and private future.
