Today we had a great seminar with our PI Ekkehard Neuhaus on the characteristics of stress, the most conserved cellular reaction, stress-reducing compounds and some examples out of his lab of how plants respond to stress. The seminar was particularly valuable for our second generation of doctoral students in STRESSistance (who started at the beginning of 2025), to gain a better understanding of the context of our research program.
