During today’s seminar, our doctoral students received valuable information and numerous tips on the career path “Professorship in Germany”. Based on his own career path, various career stages and respective requirements were adressed (duration/grade PhD, number/impact factors of publications, awards, selection of host lab, funding etc.). In sum, early and goal-oriented planning is definitely very important if one decides to take this route.
