The second self-organized retreat of our doctoral students took place from 29 to 30 April 2024 at the Kurpfalz Youth Hostel in Speyer. Our student assistants were also invited to take part in the event. In addition to several lecture and poster sessions, the program included a well-received creative workshop where the doctoral students discussed details of their projects and painted them on shirts. We would like to thank our PhD students, especially their spokespersons Büsra and Alex, for putting together a very enjoyable and varied program for the retreat. Again, this team-building event made a valuable contribution to the scientific and informal exchange of our doctoral students.
