Our PhD student Sadia Tamanna from Stefanie Müller-Schüssele’s Molecular Botany group is currently attending the Gordon Research Conference “Mitochondria and Chloroplasts” in Barcelona, Spain (https://www.grc.org/mitochondria-and-chloroplasts-conference/2024/). Based on her submitted poster entitled “Connected Plastid Networks: Incomplete Division or Fusion?” she was invited by the organizers to give a talk, which she excellently did today. We are very proud of Tamy and wish her continued successful conference participation with many deeper insights into current mitochondrial research and the entire research network.
