Yesterday we were very happy to have Dr. Anke Lischeid visit us at RPTU in Kaiserslautern. Dr. Lischeid is working as Manager for Innovation & Transfer Life Sciences at the Rhineland-Palatinate Innovation Agency. This agency is affiliated with the ministry and is tasked with promoting spin-offs and the commercialization of biological research (https://innovationsagentur.rlp.de/zukunftsthemen/life-sciences/).
Following several rounds of discussions with our principal investigators and faculty members in the Department of Biology regarding potential future collaborations, we organized a “Meet-the-Role-Model” career session with our doctoral students, which was highly appreciated. We would like to thank Dr. Lischeid very much for visiting us and for sharing insights into her fascinating career path. We really enjoyed the meeting.
