The last two days we had the pleasure of hosting Yuina Otani in Kaiserslautern. Yuina is a doctoral student in Japan, she recently met Lorenz Wagner (doctoral student in the Herrmann lab) at the OsakaMito2025 and TokyoMito2025 conferences. On her way to a conference in Berlin, she stopped off in Kaiserslautern to further discuss her mitochondrial research with Lorenz and the STRESSistance-Cell Biology team. We are delighted that the doctoral students are using their conference visits to build and deepen (inter)national networks and initiate cooperations.
