In 2024, we are once again welcoming two students from the University of Alberta in Edmonton to our graduate program. Ashwin Anand and Raj Roshankumar Patel are participating in the UoA Undergraduate Research Abroad Program, which enables students from the Department of Biochemistry to spend several weeks at a German university. During their stay, they conduct small research projects in the Department of Plant Physiology of our PI Ekkehard Neuhaus and in the Department of Molecular Botany of our associated PI Stefanie Müller-Schüssele. The research projects were designed and are supervised by our PhD students Meerim and Tamy. We wish Ashwin and Raj a pleasant and successful stay in Kaiserslautern and thank everyone involved for their support.
