We cordially welcome Krishan Rattan from the University of Alberta in Edmonton to our graduate program STRESSistance. Krishan is enrolled in the University of Alberta Undergraduate Research Abroad Program, which enables students from the Department of Biochemistry to spend several weeks at a German university. During his stay at RPTU, Krishan will conduct a small research project in the Department of Plant Physiology of our PI Ekkehard Neuhaus. In the lab, he will be supervised by Dr. Anna Probst (former STRESSistance PhD student) and Dr. Marzieh Valifard while our coordinator Gabi provides assistance in any organizational matter. We wish Krishan a pleasant and successful stay in Kaiserslautern and thank everyone involved for their support.
