In June/July 2023, elections of the new RPTU doctoral students representatives were held in the individual RPTU faculties. For the Faculty of Biology, our RTG members Melike Aksu (Plant Physiology/Neuhaus group) and Anna Probst (Biotechnology/Schroda group) were elected doctoral student representatative and deputy doctoral student representative, respectively. Together with their colleagues from the other RPTU faculties they will now represent the interests of the PhD students of the RPTU towards the organs and committees of the university and will advise on matters concerning them.
We are proud to have such dedicated doctoral candidates with us and offer our sincere congratulations and best wishes for success during their one-year term, which starts on October 1, 2023.
